Sliding windows are supplied with a sliding sash which runs on metal channels. They are useful in areas with limited space that cannot accommodate a window opening in or out.

Timber Fixed Windows
Fixed windows are set in a closed position, they are stationary and cannot open and are often used to compliment other windows. They enable maximum amount of light to enter the room and are best used when ventilation is not an issue but light or a view is needed/wanted.

Timber Bifold Windows
Bifold windows can be hinged on either side of the frame and can come in two, three or four panel options in a number of bar configurations to be customised to your taste. The bifold window can be made with a flat extended sill for serving food or drink (400mm).

Timber Casement Windows
Casement windows are hinged along either vertical edge and open up opposite to the side that is hinged, providing ventilation as required. The sash can be opened and closed smoothly and easily for optimal fingertip ventilation control.

Timber Double Hung Windows
The double hung window is essentially a vertical sliding window. It utilises the weight of one sash to counter the weight of the other. By moving up the inner sash, the outer equally moves in the other direction.

The difference between sashless and standard double hung windows is simply that the sashless version doesn’t have the timber frame around each individual pane of glass.
